The People of Iran Are key for peace and tranquility in Middle East
By Arash Nikzad
For almost four decades Iran controversial policy around the world is in the center of the attention of the Middle East nations and political leaders. Iran so-called Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, his personal terror elite military arm (the Revolutionary Guards), the Iranian Government led by Mullah Hassan Rouhani who pretend he is a moderate but he isn’t, and the Iranian people themselves whose views and values are incredibly different to that of their oppressive leaders.
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), which is only answerable to the supreme leader, controls the main part of the Iranian economy illegally, while the Quds Force (designated as a terrorist supporter by the US and Canada) seeks to destabilize the Middle East through proxy paramilitary forces in Iraq, Yemen, and Lebanon .
Iranian president mullah Hassan Rouhani is so subservient to Khamenei, he leads a government which is completely hostile to the interests of the Saudi Arabia, Israel, Iraq and United States, and spreads fundamentalism and terrorism, Despite Rouhani’s campaign, promises to the Iranian youths and women for social and economic improvement and improvement of human rights, the country has the highest rate of executions in his second term of presidency.”
Indeed, even if you thought Rouhani was a “moderate” despite the clear evidence against, you would not be able to ignore the fact that the Supreme Leader has ultimate control over the whole state and country as the all dictators do.
The Iranian people willing and desires are more different from their oppressor rulers; they desire regime change as they chanted slogans in 2009 uprising and obviously they want a democratic government.
The gap between the corrupted Regime and the people of Iran should be seized upon by the US and the West. This is how we bring down the Regime and free the people, by supporting the will of the people and their desire for real change.
Back in June, Secretary of State Rex Tiller son noted that US policy on Iran acknowledges the democratic leanings of the Iranian people and he told the House Foreign Affairs Committee that the US would “work towards the support of those elements inside of Iran that would lead to a peaceful transition of that government”.
This strategy would put the people of Iran in charge of their future and give them the power to govern democratically with the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) which already serves as a government in exile.
