WHAT'S THE MEANING OF NEW SANCTION AGAINST IRGC?

Last week, US House lawmakers and the Senate passed a complete box of sanctions on Iran as a major step toward forcing Iranian political leadership to behave as a normal regime. It is also an enormous step towards the correction of some of the concessions that were given in the 2015 nuclear deal.
The nuclear deal, (JCPOA), effectively allows Iran to carry on with all activities that are not directly related to its atomic bomb making program. In return, Iran has to limit its nuclear program. Not dismantle it.

Despite the UN resolution banned Iran from new missile test, the Iranian regime has sped up the ballistic missile program which means that the ballistic missile program is a major part of Iran nuclear program because everybody knows the intercontinental missiles capable to carry nuclear warheads. Iran also continued to spread terrorism across the Middle East.
Numerous sanctions have been placed on Iran since almost two months ago, but these most recent ones are particularly important because they target the back bone of Iranian ruling mullahs the IRGC (Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps). The IRGC is the main instrument for surviving mullahs’ regime over four decades and engaging to the export of terrorism abroad and responsible for its ballistic missile and nuclear programs.
The IRGC is also responsible for the suppression of social revolts such as 2009 uprising and chokes any dissidents’ voice inside Iran.

The IRGC will suffer, too, because it will lose some of its economic power that allowed it to continue its terrorist activities and its missiles program.
